When you talk about gingivitis it only means that it is the earliest and the mildest form of gum disease which is being indicated by red, tender and swollen gum’s. Our gum’s may bleed easily during brushing and flossing if we have a gum problems and that means we have an unhealthy gum’s. But for all you know you cannot notice gingivitis because it is not usually painful so it will result to negligence until it can progress to more serious condition, periodontitis. That will lead to periodontitis as the advance stage of gum disease and it may require gum disease treatment. Treatment may range from non- surgical to surgical treatment depending on its severity.
